I had the pleasure of attending a dinner held in Congressman Hoyer's honor. It was a great gathering of people that loved and respected him and all he did for Historic Sotterley. He championed many projects in Maryland, especially St. Mary's County for over 60 years. He showed much dedication and love for the people not only within his district but in general.
