I had the pleasure of attending a dinner held in Congressman Hoyer's honor. It was a great gathering of people that loved and respected him and all he did for Historic Sotterly. He championed many projects in Maryland, especially St. Mary's County for over 60 years. He showed much dedication and love for the people not only within his district but in general. I am truly proud of my success in completing the Master Gardener Program. My schedule and the course finally came in to alignment.

The beginning of my 2 year term as the Worthy Matron of the local chapter, Fidelity Chapter #60, Order of the Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliated, Maryland and it Jurisdictions, Incorporated. During the 2 year period the chapter hosted Food Drives to benefit local food pantries; Adopted Residents of Chesapeake Shores; Collected Toiletries for local shelters, schools and Soup Kitchens; Donated and served Meals at the Mission; Donated meal bags during Thanksgiving and Christm
